Coupon Lingo

Being a couponer means you have to understand the lingo. Heres a link for the list:
http://dealseekingmom.com/coupon-lingo-quick-reference-guide/

Most important..when reading a couponers site there may be initials there that you may not understand
Here r the names of the inserts that come in the sunday papers. You will see these letters with a date next to it. This tells you the day the insert came out!! Alot of people just keep the inserts intact and put them in a bin. That may work, but when you shopping an browsing for deals, you will not remember every coupon you have. A binder is the way to go. I am that one person in the store with the binder open on my shopping cart.

Yes!!! its me, and ive been complimented a few times for having it.

Sunday inserts:

P&G: Procter & Gamble Sunday insert
RP: Red Plum
SS: SmartSource

The Internet Coupon Sites

Here are the links for the best places to start. Again you cannot be picky if your going to start couponing. Some items that you prefer may rarely ever have a good deal. I start my day going thru these website and printing off coupons i like. You can print up to 2 coupons per computer. I usually just push the back button and it will auto reprint, but sometimes you have to go through the list again and select your items.

A personal Shopper

Steve and I had a discussion the other day about my couponing and how i could use my time in it to help other people. Im still thinking about it and wonder what you think? A couple people have told me that they would love for me to go and shop for them and do what i do. I know that if i think it out i probably could.

Im going to try it for one person and see how it goes. Its like a trial run to get me started.

Some deals for next week are already floating around the internet, so instead of you searching for it, just follow me and ill post em when i see em.

Side Note:
I have to thank the krazycouponlady, without her i wouldnt know half the things i do today!

The Beginning

Getting started is the hardest, especially that first week. You start out with only a small amount of coupons and make the most out of what you have. Patience, Time and your commitment is what will make couponing work for you.
Here is how i have it organized. 36 categories in all.

To really start couponing you will need a binder with baseball card holder inserts, have the binder categorized, and get the sunday papers. To get the best out of this, is to get coupons from the interenet. Any brand that you enjoy the most, sign up on their website for their newsletters. That way they will send you coupons frequently.

Here is my Awesome Binder. GO GREEN!!!  It has an arm strap, handle, a zipper on the front and 2 on the side.
The Inside. To the left are pockets where i keep all my store policies. NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM!
What the inside looks like. COUPONS and more COUPONS!
